Preserving an Historic Church Building

The Unitarian Church of Barnstable, built in 1907, is now 115 years old. The building is generally well-maintained and has only relatively minor structural defects. However, many of its distinctive architectural features need restoration to preserve the historic character of the building.

If you want to inspect the various elements needing repair, take a look at the photos taken on a beautiful day in July 2021 when a drone flew around the property to show us the extent of the toll that time has taken on this iconic structure.

We have begun a campaign to raise sufficient capital to restore the church on Cobb's Hill. Maybe you have attended a wedding or a memorial service there or walked your dog by or just glanced up to check the time. If so, please consider helping to keep that old building going for another 100 years.

Thank you for whatever amount you can offer at the secure donation page linked below. Thank you.
