Our Commitment to Ecojustice
The Unitarian Church of Barnstable (UCB) is committed to Ecojustice, including our re-certification as a Green Sanctuary and leadership in the Faith Communities Environmental Network (FCEN). UCB is conscious of the consumption crisis surrounding us in our culture and frequently schedules movies and speakers encouraging all to work for climate healing.
UCB is a founding member of the Faith Communities Environmental Network of the Cape and Islands, initiated in 2017 in partnership with the Federated Church of Orleans.
FCEN has grown to more than 45 faith communities on Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard. UCB’s membership reflects our strong commitment as stewards of the Earth and advocates and activists for Environmental Justice.
