UCB is self-supporting.
Each year, during our Annual Stewardship Campaign, we solicit a commitment or promise from each member to financially support the church. That financial commitment will determine staff salaries, our ability to pay our bills, maintain our historic building and define our programs. We, the members of our church, determine our priorities and all that we offer.

About Stewardship
We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give. Quote by Winston Churchill
Stewardship is by its very nature an act of giving. Stewardship is defined as taking care of something, such as an organization. That is exactly what we do each year when we make a pledge of financial support toward funding UCB’s annual operating budget for the following year. Pledges are annual commitments which need to be renewed each year. It takes all of us to succeed at this.
Why do we ask for your Pledge?
A Pledge of financial support to UCB allows us to plan. Before we can plan staff salaries, social outreach or even to pay the gas bill, we need to have an idea of what we will have to spend. Pledges of financial support provide a sense of what funds we will have to pay these and any other expenses we have.
